June 12, 2008 (Santee, California) – The City of Santee has filed a critical response to the County of San Diego’s draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) analyzing the impacts of a proposed women’s jail to be built at the current site of Las Colinas Detention Facility (LCDF). The 27-page response details serious flaws with the County’s report.
